Why “Don’t Even Think About It” is a great step in the right direction

George Marshall’s book ‘Don’t Even Think About It’ is a terrific book. Based on his long experience in climate change communications and some original research, it is a book with many profound insights about the types of cognitive biases that we can hold about climate change; and has well-informed ideas about what this means for better climate change communications. Yet there is so much we still don’t know about how society is coming to grips with climate change. And what we think we know is sometimes flawed.
